First off, does anyone else get bored enough to take pictures of their Pruis as they head down the road?

The guys on the internet worry about stuff like this.  How far until the first blip disappears from the gas gauge.  Still there at 180.3.

Gone by 185.8.  Of course, I could pump this to 225 easy by pushing the trip button 50 miles before I gas up next time.

On this tank at the 185 mile mark, the tank average as per the screen is 55.2.  Which translates to about 53 at the pump, this thing is off by 2 that you can count on.

And, let's celebrate 12345.  Pictures are blurry because my focus was on the road... As it should be at 70+ mph.

And now to the mailbox....

I couldn't find enough leverage to rip that post out of the ground.  I'm borrowing Phil's John Deere tractor to put the dirt in the ditch.  If I can't get rid of the post by then, I could be able to yank it out of the ground with his tractor.

We got the blocks all delivered at the same time from Ground Effects in Yorkville.

That trench goes about another 6 feet up the hill to the place where the existing downspout drain dead ends under ground and causes a swamp spot in the lawn.  It will tie in to the new culvert in the ditch.

If you're looking for one, this is known as a Column Mailbox, we got it from some vendor on the internet.

The door swings nicely and has a magnet to hold it closed.

I think this will all come together pretty good when we fill in the ditch and get the grass planted.
